Christmas Rogaine Results

Ho ho ho!

What a fantastic day it was up at the Country Lane Christmas rogaine. Thanks so much for coming and supporting us at this busy time of year. Your smiles, scratches and crumpled maps said it all! We were so lucky to have access to that stunning piece of terrain - thanks again to the Grant family for allowing us up there.

I am sure they appreciated all the enthusiastic Wilding Pine collection work you carried out today.

I think Chris did such a good job with that map, and I am sure you enjoyed smashing about in those bush gullies almost as much as he did.

To our buddies Janet (who calmly handled the registration) and Tim (who was the best roaming Santa we could have asked for) thank you! We are very lucky to have you!

We will post the results up here very shortly. There was a small correction to a couple of placings because of SI cards not being properly cleared pre race (our mistake).

It was wonderful to see so many kids and families giving the event a go, as well as a few total newbies. Chris always sets a challenging course, so you did well to get out there and give it a go.

We hope you all have a merry Christmas, and we look forward to seeing some of you up at the Coronet Dogaine in February next year. Also don't forget about the MTBO happening in the beginning of February run by Central Otago Orienteering in Alexandra.
